Sverns Awarded National Scholarship

Georgia Sverns, from Upwey High School, has been awarded the 2010 Volleycamp
National Scholarship at the closing ceremony of this year's Australian Volleyball Schools Cup.
Georgia was selected by the AVF's Women's Technical Committee.

A starting setter with the Australian Junior '92 squad, Georgia is a smart player and
natural leader. She is technically advanced with her jump and long ball setting and is
a quality jump float server.

Congratulations Georgia.

Volleycamp 2009 State Scholarships Awarded

Congratulations to Susannah Ball from Monbulk and Linford Bennett from McKinnon, who have each been awarded a 2009 Volleycamp Scholarship.

Susannah and Linford were selected by VVI as not only deserving athletes but leaders in the volleyball community. They are both always willing to help out in anyway possible, be it refereeing, hall managing for VVI or Coaching at school events. Both have represented Victoria at both Beach and Indoor in 2008 and 2009. Their efforts both on and off the court make them utterly deserving of this Scholarship.
