Volleycamp founder, Michael Dolan, in establishing Volleycamp, was determined to assist young athletes in every way possible, not just by providing fun and affordable camps to develop skills, but by providing assistance to those that have the ability and desire, but not the financial resources, to accept on-going opportunities to participate at higher levels.

As a result, a number of annual cash scholarships have been created to achieve this aim.

State Scholarship:

For each year that a Volleycamp is conducted in a state, a scholarship of $250 cash will be offered for a male or female athlete selected into one of that State's representative teams. The successful recipient will be nominated by the State Association. It is a requirement that recipients have attended a Volleycamp in the previous twelve months.

National Scholarship:

Volleycamp will offer one $350 cash scholarship per calendar year to assist an athlete in her/his quest to play at the highest level. It is not a requirement that recipients attend a Volleycamp. Recipients will be nominated by their respective national program coaches, alternating annually between male and female programs.
