Dan is the current Australian Youth Boys coach and has coached boys and girls Volleyball for over 20 years. Dan's recent coaching has been as Australian Youth / Junior Boys from 1997 - 2001 and Australian Youth / Junior Girls from 2002 - 2006. He is the only coach in Australian history to have coached both girls and boys national teams.
Dan has coached over 100 international matches, plus he has coached Victorian Junior Boys teams since 1986 and is the current Victorian Under 17 (Blue) Boys coach. In 2006 he coached a club team in Denmark.
Dan was also VIS and GMVA Program Director between 1999 & 2008. His qualifications include NCAS Level 2 and an FIVB Level 1.
Dan's role with Volleycamp is to set the technical direction for skill models and to assist in setting the agenda with all of the consultants such as Biomechanists, Sports Psychologists, Nutrition advisers and Strength & Conditioning coaches. Ultimately his role is to ensure each camp is a learning and fun experience.
He is available to assist in individual and team (school and club) training programs around Australia. He has strong interest in mentoring coaches and has done so as a mentor for Victorian State Coaches over the last 5 years. Dan currently mentors at Scotch College and Caulfield Grammar.
